So ive decided to sell Ellie.
I know ive only had her for about 10 days, but dammit... she tried to bite me the first time she came home.
She really shook my confidence and ease in handling the other two 6-7ft reptiles, and I cant have the negative energy screwing with me every time I take someone out.
I need to be able to handle my animals so theyll breed well and act well around everyone.

So, check out the For Sale section under Available/Wanted and see if you'd like her.

So recently I was contacted by an awesome guy that had a friend that was trying to downsize his collection.
Honestly, he had about 15 reptiles in his reptile room and I have more than that, so I just didnt understand the downsizing thing... but then again he mentioned he had to take care of three business's and run a semi-farm, so maybe he just didnt have enough time to clean the cages n whatnot.
He also had a gator, so... yeah. It must have been time consuming.
I was also pretty jealous of his snake room.
Nice cages that all locked, everything was clean-ish (he really should remove the sheds and clean the windows of the enclosures but who am i to argue with his herp keeping techniques?), and best of all, the snakes had a room all to themselves.
Which I envy, since mine are stuck in a small bedroom =/.

But anyway, I acquired two females and one male normal red tailed boas.

First female, that was named Dory, is a beautiful dark color.
Shes almost black in the respect and she had a nice dark blood red tail. Such a sweetie too.. only thing, I think she probably has a respiratory infection. So im afraid to put her with the healthy male that we have. =/

Second female, that was named Ellie, is a pretty two toned color.
She is reddish/caramel/brown on top with the colors gradually fading until they turn into a light greyish stone color on her sides, into the white spottedness that is her belly. Shes beautiful, only thing... shes extremely aggressive, in and out of the tub.
Which sucks because I cant really pick her up. I thought that she would calm down, but I guess shes just naturally aggressive.

The male, is a pretty normal red tailed boa look about him, but hes very clean and sharp looking, and hes this pinkish color along his sides, but only that reddish/brown on his back.
Hes a very nice healthy looking male and Im really thinking about sticking him into Ellie's cage. Even though shes pissy, that trait wont pass on to the babies with as much handling as all our animals get.

Ill have to get my cell phone cam charged again (our good camera .. it has a usb cord, well we lost it), and that way I can get some pictures up for you guys.
Note: There probably wont be many of the aggressive female, Ellie, but at least youll get an view inside her tank n whatnot as she lays there.

Weird? Who knows.

I have two boas.
Eve yesterday moved her hide, completely wrecking it, and tipped over her water bowl.
Shes just laying in there last night after i get off work like, "lookit me im so awesome" and its like, gee, you really dont want to live in a dry terrarium do you?
You just want everything to be wet and muggy in there. Geeze.

Adam on the other hand, is laying half on and half off of his hide, supporting his long ass neck on his water bowl, and stretching upwards to barely touch the screen lid thats on his terrarium.
What in the world...

I have weird animals.
